New patients at Life Chiropractic will completely understand the answers to their four biggest questions before any treatment decisions are made. The questions are:

  • What's wrong with me?
  • Can you fix it?
  • How long will it take?
  • How much will it cost?

To get accurate answers, it takes two short office visits.

The first will be approximately 30-45 minutes during which your intake paperwork (above) is reviewed, a consultation and medical history is completed, examinations and testing are performed and, if necessary, X-rays are taken.

You'll come back the following day, or whenever you have about 45-60 minutes, for your report of findings.

During your initial evaluation, orthopedic and chiropractic tests will be performed in a physical examination, to rule out serious conditions and make certain you would benefit from treatment in our office.

We then will use state-of-the-art computerized testing to identify areas of possible nerve interference in your spine.

The surface electromyography (SEMG) and thermal scans are noninvasive and painless ways to locate interference in the communication pathways between the brain and the rest of the body.

These scans look at both the motor and autonomic nervous system.

If necessary, we will then take the minimum number of X-rays necessary to add the "structural element" to the picture we're getting of the function of your nervous system.

When you return for your report of findings, please feel free to bring your spouse or anyone else you wish to view your films and scans.

At that time, we'll sit down together and completely review the meaning of the testing, your X-rays, your diagnosis and the time and treatment recommended to return you to maximum function.

Whether you have insurance coverage or not, we will thoroughly review the costs involved before you make your final decision regarding your care.

If you choose to begin chiropractic care, your first adjustment will follow the report.  Whether your recommended treatment is traditional adjustments, Activator Method, or a combination of both, you'll know exactly how you are going to be adjusted and what to expect.

It is Dr. Rabin's prime directive that "every patient has a positive experience, every adjustment, every visit."
